I think it’s quite rich that you accused me earlier of basing my opinion on personal experience, but you’re not willing to share the date with me that supports your claim of a “LARGE increase in teenage violence in recent years.”
Instead, all you share are your personal experiences, and what? Headlines?
We’re more confronted with violence these days, but its going down. You may not believe it from the news and headlines you are bombarded with, but the world is actually improving overall.
If the facts support your claim, as you say, please show them to me. I have an open mind. However, I’m also not quick to accept the first report I read because it fits an agenda.
And it’s not me who disputed the report. It’s other “reputable” academics.
And even the APA themselves say that “insufficient evidence exists about whether the link extends to criminal violence or delinquency.”
