Adobe MAX Lab: Creating Modern Responsive Websites with Bootstrap

For the past few years, I have been teaching Bootstrap, the front-end web framework, at Adobe MAX. The hands-on labs required me to create a small training booklet and lesson files. During the session, the attendees created a complete landing page with the Bootstrap integration. They learned Emmet shortcuts, CSS variables, secret Dreamweaver shortcuts, and more.

I am sharing these courses (no strings attached) and hope they will be helpful to anyone starting down the road with Bootstrap.

And a quick plug…if you are interested in having me lead a course for your company or team you can check out my course catalog here: https://lumenbrite.com

The step by step processes covered in these courses will teach you how to setup Bootstrap using Adobe Dreamweaver, but any IDE or code editor will work. I focus on the foundation of Bootstrap as well as tips and tricks for rapid development such as working with the grid and CSS utilities. The project you build will be assembled with Bootstrap components, some custom code and a few fun things along the way. If you are working on this alone, your total build time for the landing page is about 30-minutes to an hour.

These courses do not go into the SASS implementation, as I didn’t have time to cover this topic during a 90-minute lab.
