Happiness is everywhere, you just have to see it

Happiness is a child’s expression he gives when he sits in an airplane for the very first time.
Story — In mid December, I was flying to Mumbai from Ahmadabad. A kid sitting beside me asked “bhaiya(brother) why that girl is demonstrating the use of a lifesaver vest” and just for fun I replied, “beta ye plane paani mein utrega (this plane will land on water)”. The moment he heard this, his face turned red and he started shouting, but before someone would come and ask us what happened, I somehow convinced him why they demonstrate all safety rules before taking off.
Once the plane took off, he kept on looking down as if he was looking for dolphins in the ocean. He was overwhelmed by the fact that he is actually in a plane going to Mumbai. He was blushing incessantly in the entire journey.
Happiness is a child’s expression when she keeps on looking at a foreigner’s skin and hair and whispers in her mom’s ear “Mom kitna accha skin and hair hai na inka (what a nice skin and hair she has)”
Story — While waiting at Mumbai airport for the flight to Hyderabad, I saw a small girl staring at a fair skinned and light brown, curly hair foreigner and whenever that foreigner notices her, she turns her face down with a smile. So foreigner starts looking at the her until she looks at her again. When she again looks at her, foreigner asks her to come and touch her skin and hair. She approaches and touches her hair and runs away.

“Happiness that we search everywhere is within ourselves. We just have to change the color of our eyes and see the world through the same eyes that we used to see when we were a kid.”
