We used to love the sunshine now we make our own shade

We used to count all our blessings

Now we count to end days

I fear I’ll never hear another song

As long as sleepwalking people can’t imagine that the stars

Will shine on without them

But don’t worry don’t worry, ours ain’t the only sun

There’s plenty more where we came from.

We could read the crossword puzzle a crossword puzzle

It was a puzzle done in pen

But we carried on as always

And with every cry, “Save Gaia!”

It was I me me mine we abused

As if Gaia gives a damn if all of us get lost and lose

Our way home

But don’t worry don’t worry ours ain’t the only sun

There’s plenty more where we came from

We used to feel the sunshine now we make our own shade

We sit around and talk about the old days

Reminisce about the life we had

Before the leaves of the trees melted down

Before the fists in the air from the crowd

Who believed life could not possibly go on

Without them

But don’t worry don’t worry ours ain’t the only sun

There’s plenty more where we come from

We act assured like a crossword puzzle done in pen

But every time we shouted out to save Gaia

It was really you and me we thought about

So prayers were sent and were refused

There were far too many gods for us to choose

As if Gaia gave a damn if we all should lose

Our way home

But don’t worry don’t worry ours ain’t the only sun

There’s plenty more where we come from
