Why is this a GraphQL feature? I guess it would work with a traditional RESTful server too. What’s behind the interface (GraphQL resolvers or RESTful routes) doesn’t matter, does it? Nevertheless, thank you for this thorough guide!

Just wanted to highlight how much I like this post. Back when it was released, I found myself several times reading it.
Now, after I use HOCs more often in my projects, it feels great to compose components with HOCs to opt-in features. Since this article is a more technical and abstract view on the topic, it might help to read the gentle introduction to higher order components.
