The State Of JavaScript: Front-End Frameworks
Sacha Greif

Very interesting survey. I have a background in Angular and am speedily learning Ember. Once I got my head wrapped around Ember’s contextual components there is no other framework I’d rather use now.

Ember and Angular have steep learning curves. Ember for a time was nearly unusable because of the amount of API churn. With 2.x the API churn is finally gone and Ember has become a joy to use.

As for JavaScript itself: it is an unruly abomination of a language that sent software development back to the dark ages. It has taken over 20 years to get this blight of a language under control with ES6 and frameworks such as Angular, Ember, React, etc.
