MVPM: Minimum Viable Product Manager
Brandon Chu

In a generalist role like Product Manager it’s tempting to spend more time playing to one’s strengths while neglecting or outsourcing weaker areas. For me this was on the UX front. Creating mockups was the bane of my existence, mostly because it took so much time to put something together in Photoshop that was embarrassingly ugly. Then I found Sketch and with some help getting setup from a UX guy became a mockup whiz. So yes, sometimes the right tool can make up for a deficit in skill.
