Great article. We’re a HubSpot partner, and could have chosen to partner with any other marketing automation company in the world. I’ve been around the block myself, and meeting the people, the process and the enthusiasm at HubSpot was a great relief and a great contract from the grumpiness that the old-guard tech ecosystem was built on.
I’ve read the book and I can’t think that there is a hint of opportunism there on Dan Lyons’ part. But hey, if his big gives the folks outside the marketing world a chance to see what brains, drive and creativity can build, HubSpot should think of it as a gift from the PR gods.
