Smaller.
I used to be captured by big dreams.
Creating movements for masses.
My faith was somehow only justified if it could change everyone… everywhere.
World tour.
Read by thousands.
Known by all.
Creating a new movement that would capture the audiences of the world.
As I get older, I have found myself captured by smaller moments.
Slower movements.
Responding in love to an upset customer.
Listening to a friend even after a long day at work.
Yoga.
Enjoying the sights and smells of the Farmer’s Market down the street.
Striving to be a better husband. Father
Son.
Brother.
Friend.
Employee.
I still want to change the world.
I guess I’ve just realize that the best ways I can do that is by changing my own.
It was said once that the most difficult part of any revolution is the one that takes place within ourselves.
May we all have the courage to join it.
With love for the world in our hearts,
may we act it out wherever we find ourselves today.
Amen.
