As a millennial myself in a very similar situation I find this article very deeply resonating. It’s time to propose some radical solutions to address these issues. I really think you hit a nail when you rightly observed inflation. Inflation generally, combined with the INSANE tuition inflation happening, essentially screws college grads right out today the gate. I am living at home because of it, and took 5 years out of college to get my first livable job. We need to address the hyperinflation of college tuition, the disconnect of degree content with the job market, and inflation generally speaking (relating to currency value) if we, in my opinion, are actually going to do anything about creating the educated poor.
