Loved your post, Nat! Only one question: you mentioned that an ease signal is when you find yourself playing video games. Wouldn’t playing DoTA 2 technically be increasing the difficulty and challenging yourself? I suppose my question really is: are video games a sign of laziness when they can energize you thanks to their difficulty and challenges they provide?
I ask because I oftentimes use video games as a strong source of motivation, inspiration and energy that I then use to go into flow with my work (entrepreneurship). Especially if you have a long string of non-challenging work tasks to do, video games are a nice boost of energy to help you through non-challenging times in work since lack of difficulty is hard to motivate yourself to do.
