RE: Thinking Movement + sportanddev.org

Our Founder responded to the International Platform on Sport and Development’s website calling for articles on the future of sport and development in a post-COVID-19 world. He wrote a thoughtful piece on how Sport can play a central role in the recovery process and what the international sporting community needs to do in order to help the most vulnerable communities impacted by the pandemic. Some strategy proposals put forward in the article include greater mobilisation efforts, greater support for the work of NGOs and allocation of more funds to the development of community sporting programmes in the countries with the lowest GDP per capita. The article was well-received by the sport and development community and was popular on their social media channels. Thinking Movement is looking forward to working closely with sportanddev.org on more projects with the aim of making a lasting positive impact.
