10 gifts: A gift guide for the nerdy man

a list of dollars and pounds, high and low prices. Shop around for best deals this is an outline guide.

1 Start this chilly festive season off with a little jacket, a Uniqlo jacket. Great for layering and warmth. Alternatively Get a w1vintage sports team, commemorative war time jacket or a straight up shearling style bomber jacket.

2 A Special edition PS4 Controller, and if you don’t have a console, grab a $20 giftcard from steam… whats steam you ask? leave now. No, no the doors that way thats the toilet.

3 Vintage Yashica-mat 124 medium format camera, say cheese with a beautifully functional device from way back in the 60’s-80’s! You should be able to get one of these babies for under $50 but heres the first one we found.

4 I think I’m turning Japanesa because a bottle of Some Yamazaki 12, or the distillers reserve is an excellent Suntory style “scotch”. We drink a little bit of whiskey here but essentially you’ve got a Lagavulin 16, or a Suntory style like the Yamazaki 12 heck even the distillers reserve is a great all around dram for the winter months.

5 A Combiner Wars Devastator Transformer , this thing is 18 inches of pure neon green beauty. Straight out of the original series this is the best transformer you can buy, and is perfect for an office space.

6 An activity tracker such as a Fitbit Charge Hr or similar. Its not quite high time for smart watches yet, but wearables such as activity trackers and Microsoft’s smart band create data mining devices which motivate and challenge our inner man.. or something.

7 A nice crewneck sweater with a simple understated graphic or technical detail is a great multipurpose choice for the colder months, plus it makes you look buff and stuff.

8 Speaking of buff, you might wanna treat yourself to some sweet protein powder… so you can fill out THESE BAD@#$ Muy Thai boxing shorts. Ive been wearing these for years, believing that they help power me through the couch sitting sessions. Yeh they’re a little short, but don’t be a girl about it.

9 Uhhh, you gotta grab yourself a Korg Monotron, get the delay one cus you can make some sweet synthy loops for practically no cost. Pair this with a lava lamp and get groovy, nah mean?

10 This beautifully(if i might say) list of curated consumerism can go no further than a holiday must, something to start your new year off right. An inspiring art book such as Sparth’s Structura 3, a making of book(JW RINZLERS Empire Strikes Back comes to mind), or a book on naval warfare… pew pew.
