rapid prose poem 30

Apocalyptic nightmare scenario keeps the campground of my generation awake oh no not another millennial construct. But maybe it’s all fake fairy tale disney plot climax. They need something to push back against, to fight, to wake up and yell at. As if there’s no reason to go day by day in utopia. I occasionally think about how terrible it would be not to die. So here’s the rant on nuclear warheads and famines and injustice and extinction. Man it feels good to be alive. Of course always knowing that it could end. I often think about the conversation with Norwegians about how the phrase “of course” doesn’t make sense to me. At least it was cold up there, for a while longer.
