Here’s a trick: try being the most enthusiastic person you know. Just for a day. You’ll notice yourself smiling more than ever and other’s will notice.
Be positive, be persistent and be someone that other people look forward to seeing.
We are human, and we are fallible. We will never be perfect. We will never be able to perfectly control our emotions and attitude. But in my experience, we have a hell of a lot more choice in the matter than we want to admit.
Your question should be, “How can I spend less — so that I can save more?”
While I’ve only come close to financial rock bottom, I’ve banged my heart against emotional rock bottom multiple times, and now I cannot adequately convey how grateful I am for each and every one of those.
Why did she do this? Why did she waste an hour of her life giving me such great value? I don’t know.
Specifically, how I gained when I was at that moment.
I’m speaking about how when you lose all hope, you can still lose more. But it’s at that point, you have an enormous opportunity to gain.
