The Speed of Light & Time Travel:

Your initial claim is fundamentally wrong, Einstein never theorised that light travels backward in time. This is shown in the mathematics and understood by those that know the mathematics, like Stephen Hawking and funnily enough Albert Einstein.

There are no conflicting views here.

It takes an infinite amount of energy to accelerate something with mass to the speed of light, so it is theoretically and physically not possible. It is true that time slows down the faster you go, but time stops when you go the speed of light, it does not go backwards. For light no time passes and no distance is covered.
