How marketing got Trump to follow me. (#Day32)
Exciting news to share to all ardent followers of #100DaysofBlogging:
Donald Trump now follows me on Medium.

Given that Mr. Trump only started this account 2–3 days ago, I do believe that it is actually-him. It makes full, 100% sense (to those who have read) that Mr. Trump would start this account 6–7 days after I wrote “Donald Trump: Not a Coincidence”. He followed me before I followed him, too.
Mr. Trump, intelligently, is trying to gain an attention-foothold on all of the Mediums of the web. He is doing this now, 9 months prior to the Election, as part of his continual pursuit for media attention.
Medium[dot]com, for one, is a powerful manipulation tool to get your hands on.
Or it could be some intern running his account. Either way, Trump is behind this one, somehow.
Among the suggestions I received to see if this is actually-him:
“Just write about him as much as possible and see if he responds” — Brother
Also, another suggestion via Facebook:
“Just start writing some true things about Trump like he’s a racist who is afraid of women, especially smart women, and who has no policy except to pander to the meanness of the moment. If he attacks you then you know it’s him.”
Additionally, here is the conversation from a rather hilarious exchange:
“I’m going to say #trumptrain is not legit”
^But with Trump’s current marketing campaign, you never know.
Trump’s account is currently new, and is smartly trying to gain votes in a subtle way. Hilary has an official account too, one with 112K followers, but it’s 6+ months old.
[Sidenote and Disclaimer: I do not agree with the quote below. It does, however, provoke thought. That is one of my main goals with all-of-this (#100DaysOfBlogging) — just to get everyone to think more and write responses a.k.a. their own actual-views.]
To me, the above post by an Australian commentator has something to do with American Fraternities — Australians don’t Frat the same way. Trump gets this more than anyone.
