Two paths diverge in a road.

The difficult decisions we make in life. (#Day89)

It’s 2:00 AM. Look down.

Ahead of you lies two paths. Left and right, yes and no. The duality is striking, the choice is simple.

Two paths diverge in a road. The decision is yours. Either do it, or don’t. Drop it, or don’t.

You analyze it and try to dissect the problems from each angle, yet there’s no easy answers. Some things elude quantification. How can you put a price on something that means so much?

Don’t fight it, embrace it. The struggle is real. This is life, this is growing up. Real problems confront you, and the questions and decisions only grow increasingly difficult.

Think about it. Take 89 seconds. How did you get here? Why are you doing what you’re doing? Then again…some things are for the best.

An old buddhist hymn goes:

if there’s a solution to a problem, then don’t worry about it.

if there’s not a solution to a problem, then don’t worry about it.
