As a Los Angelino, I was looking forward to hiking something with scenery varying from the common but epic views you get in the San Gabriel’s and the surrounding areas. My fiance and I were making the trip up to the bay area to visit her family for Labor day weekend, and I had Sunday to do with as I wished while she went shopping with her family. I hit up one of my good best buds Evan, and the plans were made to hike up Mt. Diablo. Our original intention was the ‘Grand Loop’ hike which ran 6.7 miles.
