Shoutout to Brian J. Olds, Black Speakers Network , for inviting me to “Tech Tuesday’s” inaugural session. This week, we dove into the transformative potential of custom GPTs (Generative Pre-trained Transformers). As content creators and professional speakers, we are constantly seeking ways to enhance our efficiency, streamline processes, and stay ahead of the curve. Custom GPTs are proving to be a pivotal tool in achieving these goals.

In this session, DeKesha Williams, MBA showed us how she uses custom GPTs to run her business and support her clients, providing valuable insights into their practical applications. She highlighted how these advanced AI tools can revolutionize our workflow, from automating email writing to creating comprehensive SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

One of the standout moments was DeKesha’s demonstration of her “Get it Done Launch Planner,” a customized GPT tailored to her unique methodology. By feeding the AI her proprietary framework, she created a powerful tool that generates detailed, step-by-step strategies for launching webinars, summits, and other virtual events. This not only saves time but ensures consistency and quality across all her client projects.

The potential of custom GPTs doesn’t stop there. Both Brian and DeKesha highlighted how these tools can be invaluable in training sales teams, developing high-converting sales pages, and even crafting keynote speeches. The ability to input specific frameworks and receive tailored outputs means we can maintain our unique voice and approach while leveraging the efficiency of AI.

However, as I aptly noted, there are legitimate concerns about data security and intellectual property . The need to protect our proprietary information while benefiting from AI’s capabilities is paramount. Exploring solutions like on-premise AI models or more secure, customized setups can provide a balanced approach.

The pace of changes in technology is accelerating, and we can’t afford to fall behind. If you’re eager to sharpen your technical skills, tackle real-world business challenges, and connect with like-minded professionals, then this weekly session is for you.

You are invited to join us for our next Tech Tuesday’s with Brian Virtual Roundtable hosted by Brian J. Olds. This bi-weekly Zoom session is designed to cultivate a diverse community of technology enthusiasts, startup founders, and professionals keen on deepening your technical knowledge.

Stay curious, stay secure, and keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible utilizing AI.
