I’ve heard this…. But when it comes down to brass tacks, it never pans out.

Generally, I’ve found that people that complain about “the patriarchy” don’t even know what it means except in the most general sense… so they would of course not know what matriarchy means either.

And of course feminists “see” matriarchies in history. They have a desperate need to.
