So you think that the idea that men are independent directly contradicts the idea that men have lower expectations for marriage. Wow.

On what planet? They are not REMOTELY opposite.

Opposite would be that men are dependent in the first case.

Opposite would be that men have high expectations in the second.

In fact, they support each other if anything.

I can scarcely believe how one comes up with such an insane assertion. You must have gone to college… the only explanation for such foolishness.

By now everyone will have noticed that you’ve entirely failed to present a case of any specificity.
