The dictionary was invented to PREVENT change and having definitions go too far.

I could say “You shouldn’t do that”, and you could claim that I just threatened your life… because language is subject to change.

The problem with this was that minus dictionaries, the actual mechanics of LAW would change with the definitions.

Obviously a bad thing… so dictionaries were invented.

What you will notice about the story is that none of it has to do with entitlement. It simply presumes it… and then goes on to describe things that don’t even relate to the subject.

People rape when they want to.

Some people WERE entitled, by decree, to rape, for example as part of the spoils of war. “We won, so we are entitled to getting all rapey on you.” as well as take your property.

The fact is, there is no entitlement to rape in society. It doesn’t exist.

All that happens is that people either don’t recognize their crimes, or make excuses for them… or worse, set out to commit them because it’s criminal.

No entitlement anywhere in that formula.

Dictionaries exist for a reason.

Find me rapists that say they did it because they were entitled to.
