You’ve just described why conservatism is boring. At least partly why.

I suspect that most people don’t wish to put in the effort to even visit issues with the depth of conservative thinkers… only the old guard on the left do… the Noam Chomski’s of the world.

The thing I’ve noticed is that the left just doesn’t do the intellectual thing anymore. They do memes.

What’s the bogus charge de jure? Paedophile? Oh that’s a good one! Coulter is right… its a mob.

As such, it’s not really challenging to engage the left intellectually. And I see little indication that it works anyway. What works is Laci Green turning little girls into rageing feminists before they even get their period.

A mind that sewn up is going to be impervious to reason.

Dinish D’souza makes an interesting point, that rights are not as important (and certainly less interesting) than justice. The left owns justice, while conservatives talk rights (the libertarian wing especially).

Boring!

Milo has been trying to address this with some success… boring is one thing he’s not
