池田亮司創作的作品《Superposition》在新視點野藝術節展出,由二人組合演出,實驗影像和聲音的極致形態。

科學是微分方程式;宗教是邊界的條件。

《Superposition》的靈感源自量子力學的數學概念,作品質疑微觀世界的本質。池田將各種影像和聲音重新組合和排列,展現舞台上所有構成元素的可能性。

觀眾可透過螢幕觀察演出者史提凡.加漢和艾蜜利.格浩特的動態,演出者與影像和聲音結合,譜出與眾不同的宇宙交響曲。池田指導表演者以冷靜、理性的視角來闡述複雜的宇宙,他們利用一系列地球和星系的衛星圖像,配合極簡主義音樂的演奏,貫徹地把人與浩瀚宇宙之間獨特的對比呈現出來。

池田的音樂將觀眾帶入置身宇宙的環境氛圍,讓觀眾感知在現場表演中每個簡化的元素,從而提升觀眾的審美體驗。觀眾從他極簡的音符、精簡的結構與重複式節奏體驗音樂的本質,這亦是他的極簡主義電子音樂最典型的組成部分。

今次這場演出描繪一系列量子物理學的領域和宇宙規模的論述,各種元素在同一空間連續地與樂曲協調,疊加成別具一格的宇宙交響曲。


挪威indie-pop唱作歌手Girl in Red的曲風以簡單的結他旋律和鼓點,歌詞以Lesbian為主題而成名。Girl in Red第一首歌曲《I wanna be your girlfriend》於2017在Spotify上達到五千萬流量,該曲更成為時代雜誌“The 68 Best Songs of 2018”的其中一首,歌詞簡單直白地寫出對Hannah的表白:

“I don't wanna be your friend, I wanna kiss your lips. I wanna kiss you until I lose my breath.”

2018年Girl in Red推出單曲《Girls》單在YouTube上有六百多萬的點擊率,迅速吸引歌詞寫出女同性戀者的掙扎心聲,隱藏對喜歡女性的感覺,想跟別人坦白,但卻害怕別人聽到自己的性取向的批評,亦嘗試與男性相處,但發覺不是自己喜歡的,也只是浪費時間:

“Can I tell anyone?
Afraid of what they’ll say
So I push them away
I’m acting so strange”

“I should be into this guy
But it’s just a waste of time
He’s really not my type
I know what I like”

《Watch you sleep》收錄於Girl in Red第二張專輯Chapter Two,以溫柔、細膩的歌聲,以及reverb效果器所營造氣氛,訴說看著對方睡覺的樣子,不願跟情人分離的心情:


《午後的羅網》(Meshes of the Afternoon, 1943)是以剪接一堆具詩意的有趣影像並配上音樂,製成的一齣實驗性短片。短片中沒有劇本,亦沒有傳統電影的敘事模式,如從角色的成長背景塑造角色的形象,以及激烈的角色之間的衝突來形造高潮等等。反而,短片嘗試以如詩式般的敘事方式,就像一個不停變化的環形夢境,夢與夢之間互相重疊,卻沒有抵觸。


2014年在弘大成名的獨立樂隊Hyukoh,以主唱吳赫獨特的聲線、寫出年輕一代心聲的歌詞,以及輕快簡單的編曲,吸引不少年輕粉絲支持。2015至2018年間,Hyukoh曾兩次MAMA奪得最佳樂隊獎,推出的專輯《22》和《23》亦獲得韓國音樂大獎最佳現代搖滾專輯,可見韓國知名樂評、制作人和專業音樂人對他們的音樂作出肯定。

Hyukoh於2020年一月尾推出新專輯《Through Love》,在曲風和造型上嘗試不同創新的元素,如專輯首曲《Help》以爵士編曲,重覆的結他,輕快的鼓點加入手鼓、沙錘,最後以長笛獨奏作結,再配合吳赫低沉的聲線唱出「 Can you hear me? I’m lost.」,營造迷幻的氛圍。

Hyukoh今年開始展開世界巡迴,經過歐州、北美、亞州多個地方,包括大板、東京、新加坡、台北、巴黎、波士頓、阿姆斯特丹、科倫等城市,他們將在七月巡迴至香港。

維拉希蒂洛娃執導的《野雛菊》(1966)為六十年代捷克新浪潮中期的實驗電影,當中嘗試運用各種電影拍攝和剪接技巧,如:拍攝火車行走的長曝鏡頭、兩個女孩以剪刀剪拼對方的身體等場面皆為經典。不同於一般具完整故事情節的電影,《野雛菊》更像是一幕幕某種被拍攝的劇場表演,演員在觀眾面前藝術地表演。電影以兩個女孩的生活為主題,她們自由、不受社會規條所束縛,渴求在社會中尋找自身的存在,但最後卻被社會的價值觀所摧毀,故事既荒誕亦真實。電影中那些反叛、不服從權威與秩序的行為,被當時的國會議員批評毫無意義,以浪費食物等理由禁播。維拉希蒂洛娃以《野雛菊》批判戰後重建期各種社會價值觀,而本文將從工作、情欲、性別角色和家庭等方面闡釋電影對父權社會與異性戀霸權的顛覆與反思。


費里尼(Federico Fellini),被譽為現代藝術電影影響深遠的一位意大利導演,在1963 拍成的一套超現實的黑白喜劇-《八部半》(8½),曾獲過奧斯卡最佳外語獎以及最佳服裝(黑白),至今仍有人認為《八部半》是一齣最好看的電影。費里尼的電影手法仍然很值得當代導演去借鏡和參考。我會於下文逐一分析費里尼在《八部半》裡的鏡頭運用、過場方式、場面調度(包括場面設計、燈光、人物的表現和動態、空間和時間)。
