Today was a hard day. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary happened, but the weight of my emotions seemed insurmountable. As someone who battles with bipolar disorder and experiences psychosomatic symptoms, I woke up with chills and pins and needles up my back. It’s not a new sensation, but it still affects me. Then, I received an email from my wife about our divorce, a process that has been ongoing for a year. While I expected it, the news still stirred up a whirlwind of grief, loss, and sadness within me. Today, my mind was in full daemon mode, and it felt like an uphill battle just to keep breathing.

Navigating the Rollercoaster of Emotions:

On some days, I can face a barrage of challenges, laugh, and turn them into learning experiences that help me grow. But on days like today, it feels like I’m barely holding on, just trying to ensure that the essence of who I am remains intact. As a father, partner, and writer, I have responsibilities and outlets that bring me solace. However, during these difficult moments, even the simplest tasks can feel overwhelming.
