New Years Resolutions 2025
Aka New Years Resolution 2024 Redux
So here we are again. For those who don’t remember Last year I wrote my New Year’s resolutions In this blog hoping it would work as a from of motivation and help me keep my resolutions. You may have figured out from the sub title exactly how that went.
So last year I set 3 resolutions for myself which I am rolling over into 2025.
They were as follows and how they went.
1) Go to the gym more (Failed. I went to the gym the roughly same amount averaging a little less then once a week.
2) Write more. (Technically I kept this one as I did write slightly more, but my writing was less focused so I didn’t actually end up publishing more. Functionally failed.)
3) Make more time for friends. (This one I actually kept! I did squeeze more time in for friends. Sadly I still didn’t squeeze quite as much time in with my friends as I wanted to so I will be rolling this over into next year still.)
However this year I’m trying something a little different. Not only am I putting this up publicly, like last year which did not work, I also started these the moment I made the resolutions about a week ago, rather then on New Years. Hoping getting some momentum and building routines while I have time off will allow me to keep my resolutions this year. And so far it’s been working. This last week I’ve worked out everyday since I mad my resolutions, visited friends and even did a good bit of writing. We will see how long it lasts but for now, I’m a week in and doing all right.
