Suicide

Suicide is stigmatised
Looked down upon
With pity
With contempt
With disgust

In a world
Championing freedom of choice
Isn’t choosing to live or die
The ultimate choice?

Is living that great really
That you judge those
Who choose not to?
“There is but one truly serious
philosophical problem”

Fear of Dying,
Not Death itself
Is the reason many people
Still walk around today
Though half dead inside

Dying is painful
Inconvenient and
A Logistical nightmare
Instead of an active seeking,
Ambivalence to death and life

Note: If you have suicidal thoughts, please seek help, both professional and from your loved ones.

This post is not meant to cause hurt or offence to anyone. I deeply regret if it has.
