Should I judge people?

Humans judge each other all the time. They even judge animals. Like cats are not as loyal as dogs is a common stereotype though there are instances where cats have shown more loyalty than dogs.

Though we taught not to judge people but we still do. It maybe because its easier for our brain to categorize data/person than to process that as whole new category. So on first glance anything we come across related to that person whether its clothes, behavior, sex, race etc which our brain familiarize with, we put them in that category which is already present in our brain.

A t-shirt jeans boy who you thought was a messenger might be your boss and owns the building you are in. At the same time, as a business person in first few minutes of meeting I’ll categorize the person and that might prevent from setbacks and losses.
