Anti-Feminism isn’t Sexism

People often conflate anti-feminism with sexism. I am against feminism, but I am pro-equal rights. Feminism is simply a political movement, it doesn’t have a monopoly on equal rights or even women’s rights. Being anti-feminist doesn’t mean someone is against women, or women’s rights. It’s important to make that distinction. When a political movement becomes the symbol for virtue in the eyes of society, it gains a dangerous facade of infallibility that lends well to corruption.

It is the principles of equal rights and equality under the law that is important, not some arbitrary brand or collective movement.

There is a common theme in left-wing movements of trying to establish a monopoly on certain principles, and they enforce the image that if you’re against the movement, you’re against the principles. It is utterly disingenuous and serves only one purpose, to further the political aspirations of those who lead the movement.

It is a tedious irony that people elect tyranny under the guise of fighting for liberty.
