Good conversation makes good relation
It would be very rough experience with your fingers when the button is turning in a sudden move of a fan, So what a product designer need to do? He has to make the movement of the button smooth. You can feel such experiences by using electronic devices like Mobiles, Computers, Watches, Tablets, Playstations…etc in our daily life. When we try to unlock an iPhone, it says ‘slide to unlock’ in an interactive way, it is exactly an interactive experience which helps the user to do the proper action to unlock the device. the system shows some sign to act and to show feedback as well. It makes a good intuitive and structural behaviour for a technology platform.
In an interview, the interviewer asked me about Micro Interaction. I know only the meaning of “Micro”. He explained to me in a good way, what is Micro interaction with some examples, and that inspired me a lot. then after few project work, I got to know that it has an important role in User Experience design, I used so many applications, devices and observed it deeply. If you look into the details, interactions are everywhere. it will make the user more comfortable and use consistently.
Two months ago I started researching on interaction design and committed to a project, it helped me to get more clarity on it.
I am really glad to showcase it to you.
File Upload Interaction
It’s a simple interaction of an upload button, it would be good if the elements will appear in the simple interactive way.
Date picker
This is the design concept which I have presented to my Design team. When we aware of micro-interaction, it is visible on every technology platform, the transformation of an icon or a colour change will give a fresh feel for the app.
Menu Interaction
Not just an animation, Even if its some text elements, it should appear in a smooth way, it would be cool to our eyes.
Help the user to do proper action
There are so many ways to experience things, Audio is the media for helping us to experience the music. So if the system is suggesting the user to use a headphone through interaction, it is great. a simple interaction which impacts a great experience.
Detect current location
The motion interaction of a location icon reminds to detect the current location.
Upload Icon
The slightest movement on a screen also catchy for the user, and the probability to do the action will be more when it’s eye-catching.
Weather changing interaction experience
It all comes from nature, pick up things from nature for a better experience so that anyone can relate it. someone may not be bothered about everything, some accurate about everything. If the system shows the various information When we navigate or seek as per our needs, it would be good enough.
Notification
Another cool interactive experience for notification feature, the common experience which we see everywhere. If these kinds of small interactions make the user do some activities, it is a good user experience.
Interactive Onboarding screen
It is one of the key elements of any product to convey the purpose of the product to the user.
no extra information, no extra time, no extra contents. convey the real aim in the best way possible.
Rating screen
A small interactive experience for providing feedback. it is a little funny, but these interaction make a good experience with the user.
Interaction is the conversation between user and product. If we want to achieve a great user experience for a product, we should aware of great interactions also, surely it will make a difference in experience, even if it is small.
As I said it all inspired by nature. Imitating nature.
These all are my first experiments in this interaction design project. my teammates helped me a lot in learning this as a new thing.
