During 4 June to 9 August 2019, I had an opportunity to intern at the Private banking department, CIMB Thai bank. I joined the internship program in the field of Database Management because I am a Database student and I need to know how Database people work in real life.

Besides the knowledge that related to Database, I learnt new knowledge which I never know from my classes such as KYC, Financial risk assessment, and basic of the mutual fund.

I also learnt and applied soft skills during the internship program including communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and public speaking. Moreover, I had a chance of using English to communicate every day because my internship’s partner uses English as a native language. Therefore, I was very lucky to practice and improve my English to communicate in daily life.

Lastly, I increased my connection after I finished my internship. I knew new friends from other universities both in Thailand and overseas and had contact with other staff. These things will be important keys to help me for getting the job and asking for help in the future.
