Scoop yourself from despair,think positive, dream big
Positive thinking is not about denying what is happening but by deliberately turning negative thoughts into opposite. Positive thoughts generate positive feelings and attract positive life experiences. Some people are naturally feel more positive and some people feel more negative . The balance between positive and negative thoughts are very important because you can’t live positive life with negative thoughts.
In my life, I had also gone such negative thoughts which blocked my mind and stress me out a lot. It was time of my P.hD admission test in Punjab University. I have huge bundles of books to studied and time was very less. Getting admission in P.hD was my greatest dream but I was not feeling confident about clearing the test. However, with these mixed feelings of depression and negativity. I had appeared in the test . Test was very difficult and I felt that I will not clear the test.One more thing added more tension was that passing marks was 70. I lose all my self belief.
To cater this problem , I reach out to my brother who is a psychologist . He had suggested me some exercises to change my negative thoughts into positive one. The first exercise was to write 10 times “ I will get admission in P.hd ,” on a piece of paper before sleeping . Through this activity, we send positive vibes to the future. The second exercise, I had done was to free my mind with all the negativity and turning thoughts of not getting admission into positive one. The third thing , I had done was telling myself again and again that I will clear it . During all this period, I had gave encouragement to my class fellows that we will clear it .
The outcome of all these things was really amazing , I got highest marks in the test and got my admission. I follow this quote , “ if constructive thoughts are planted , positive outcomes will be result. Plant the seeds of failure and failure will follow.
