  1. Activity 1: In Person Drop

As I’m passionate about teaching field and want to be a teacher at private sector. I decided to drop my CV in schools. I dropped my resume in two schools Allied and Thanet Hall School. It was overall a great experience and also my first experience of dropping CV anywhere else. Before going to interview I equipped by preparing my documents, try to dress up professionally and research about school. In Allied school (sub campus). Gate keeper easily allow me to go inside when I said I want to drop my CV. I drop my CV to Miss Seher Bano, who work as an incharge, she take my interview. First I give my elevator pitch and tell the purpose why I come. The challenge I faced that during interview she has a phone call and she busy 10 to 15 minutes at that phone call and at that time I will try to keep my facial expressions natural and don’t show my nervousness. She tell me that if they have vacancies for teachers later then she will call me.

I’m dropping my CV in another school Thanet Hall. I tell my elevator pitch to Mam Munaza as she is the incharge of the school. She tell me to write an application in which you mention your subject which you want to teach, salary which you want, and classes you want to teach. I wrote application then she said that she call me at Monday for trial of the subject which I teach and she also said me that I also applied for their O level branch as my subject (economics) required at O level. In both these two interviews I didn’t face any challenge and smoothly do everything. After 24 hours I send her thank you email. This is my first experience and it was so good it will give me more confidence to me for applying to my dream institute (Punjab College). After this experience I think that for the next time when I apply in Punjab College for job I will groomed myself more and try to be natural and relaxed. After this activity I feel myself out of comfort zone and I will more passionate to apply at my dream institute. I didn’t take any picture because it seems unofficial.
