Extra Mile..JOURNEY

I started this activity earlier, I searched two organization with detail,firstly PCSIR (My dream organization) and then BZU Lahore Campus.I searched biotechnology department of the BZU and find the name of the head of the department,his name is Muzzammel Rehman. Then by searching linkedin and resume at google, I find the email Id of the head and I write him detail email with customized cover letter and My amal resume.I also write email to Head of Food departament of PCSIR and third email I sent to professor of Max Planck institute of Biomedicine Germany ,I wrote him email about admission in germany.I was not sure about reply but alhamdulillah I was also surprised after checking my mailbox next day.I received reply from the german professor who assured me, he will consider my application for PhD and the second email was from muzammil rehman and that was “Dear Saba “Please come for interview tomorrow at BZU campus lahore at 11 am with your resume”. I was o much happy I customized my resume and cover letter again in more better way and get a print of both and then I find the BZU location at google map that was very near to my house.I reached on time and met muzammal sahb for interview ,he interviewed me for 5 minutes and I followed all the rules of passenger and Finally he said “I really like your presentation skills and we will give you medical biochemistry subject next semester to teach”.

It was my first attempt and I use a different approach, I thought, I should send an email before to go for in person drop and I was not expecting but I got a very positive reply.I learnt we should just start ,I just go one step extra and what I got selection for interview even they were not hiring ,they do not have empty seat but they selected me for next semester.I did not find any hurdle as head of department called me for interview and in person drop ,I go well prepared and I try to do my best in interview.Next time I will go more prepared about my subject knowledge beacuse they asked very tough question related to the subject. The lesson which I learnt and others should follow is that we should apply and send a proper email to companies and organization,even if they have no open positions,we should send them email again and and should go for in person drop with full preparation,If we will not get a job ,but we will have a experience of interview and we will learn from our past experience.
