“DO MORE AND HAVE FUN WITH TIME MANAGEMENT”

Eat that Frog with a Pomodoro
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management system that encourages people to work with the time they have — rather than against it. The pomodoro technique is a proven and popular time management life hack.
The main premise behind the technique is to work in blocks of time, typically 25 minutes long (called pomodoro sessions), followed by a 5 minute break. Each pomodoro session should demand your full attention on one task, every break requires you to step away from your work to rest.
The result is greatly improved productivity during focused work sessions, that can be maintained through effectively managing distractions and taking regular breaks.
Here’s how to get started with Pomodoro, in five steps:
1: Choose a task to be accomplished.
2: Set the Pomodoro to 25 minutes (the Pomodoro is the timer)
3: Work on the task until the Pomodoro rings, then put a check on your sheet of paper
4: Take a short break (5 minutes is OK)
5: Every 4 Pomodoros take a longer break

It’s important to note that a pomodoro is an indivisible unit of work — that means if you’re distracted part-way by a coworker, meeting, or emergency, you either have to end the pomodoro there (saving your work and starting a new one later), or you have to postpone the distraction until the pomodoro is complete.

1. PLAN
Take 5 minutes to plan out your day. What tasks will you work on and how many sessions do they require?Organization and realistic expectations is the key to being productive.
2. FOCUS
After a distraction it can take 25 minutes to get back on track so managing distractions is vital to productivity.Shut down your email, social media, put your phone on do not disturb, ask colleagues to come back later.

3. WORK
Pick your first task, hit play and focus. 25 minute sessions are the recommended length.
You will notice there is no pause button. This is your motivation to deal with interruptions effectively.
4. SHORT BREAK
Step away from your desk, five minutes is the recommended break length.Clear your mind of the task you have just been working on, stretch your legs or grab a refreshment.

5. REPEAT
A round of pomodoros is generally 4 sessions. By following these patterns you will build good habits. At the start of each new session select a task to work on and focus all your energy into your session.
6. LONG BREAK
After four pomodoro sessions take a longer break, 20 minutes is recommended.Make sure you step away from your desk, get some food or a drink and clear your mind.
You can use longer breaks more frequently when working on more complex tasks or if you are feeling tired.
Being a student how can we use this technique??

- Improve your reading speed.
- Track assignments.
- Write papers.
- Break down large tasks (like drafting a research paper) into smaller steps.
It is my routine that I get frustrated when I am working on the same things for more than 1 hour continuously. So this time I think of work with proper pauses and i get maximum out put.
The Instructions of the activity are:
Friday night, I decided to make a challenge of pomodoro.
First of all I organized my workplace and then bring all the things near me which I needed during the work.
Set a 25-minute timer and continue to run on my PW7.
My project work has been delayed due to the Internet problem. But at night, I started my work and it will be finished within a specified time. The only distraction was my thought that I look on cellphone and I thought is there any text or not.So i put my cellphone on silent and away my eyes.
First complete second online course.
I set the timer and start working on writing blog or other task.
I start writing blog on Medium according to the project work.
I write about My in Person drop Experience by setting 4 alarms of 25 minute.
Almost all was done within 4 to 5 hours.
But bad luck was that when I decided to submit work project on time, Light gone, and I became so depressed and sad that after the effort of full night when it was going to his destination, I could not get any reward and the first time my PW were late due to many problems.

It was really a great experience for me. The feeling of achieving something but not with a reward .
It did not allow any distraction in my work and the breaks helped me to relax a lot.
I get maximum out come out of this time .I believe its really a handy technique, and now I am thinking to make it my daily routine work.
To conclude, the Pomodoro Technique is simple and easy to implement. It requires little more than a timer and a “can do” attitude.Overall, the experience building this project has been great. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot of things.
Until next time, Be happy!
