No one can survive alone by himself. Everyone is dependent on another person or many other people for survival, to fulfill his needs and to spend a quality time with them. As a lot of psychological problems are caused by the loneliness, when you don’t have someone you can talk and share your problems and views about anything. Dale Carnegie was a great writer, and in his book “How to Win Friends & Influence People,” he used many examples from the life of those people who are successful now. When he tried to find out the reason that “How people get social?” he came to know that socialism is the basic thing for survival. That socialism come if you fits best in that society.

“You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get people interested in you.” (Dale Carnegie)

He started his writing with his own story of love that he had for his dog. As everyone want to be an important person in someone’s life. Everyone wants to be praised, everyone wants to be appreciated and everyone wants to be interested in them. Your listening skills matter over here. Because everyone wants to be listened. No one is going to listen about you, no matter how close they are with you. The best way to win friends is to listen to them. Try to make them feel that they are important for you.

As he said in his book, “You can make true friends by interested in them,” he explained this thing by giving many examples. as Napoleon said to his friend, “I have been a fortune as any man ever was on this earth and yet at this hour, you are the only person in the world on whom I can rely.”

He wrote a lot of examples of other people which simply explain that to win friends and influence people, the most important thing is “To be interested.” To realize someone that he is important for you and you really care about him. If you would follow the point of “To be interesting,” that will be a negative point, because no one in interested in anyone, no one is interested in you. If you are going to be interested in someone, they will definitely listen to you also. And your answer should be precise because your focus should be on others not on yourself.

I followed this principle and applied on my friends, family, and other people known to me. I realized that every person has a story in himself. People want to be listened. The best way to win friends is just to be interested in them. People were surprised at start, that why you are asking about me? But with the passage of time, when I continuously used to talk with them, the response of all of them was same. As they let me explore them. They let me explore their story. They permit me to know about them.

In these days of busy life, no one could not find time for the other. And most psychological problems arise because of the fact that people don’t have time for others. As by talking to someone, by discussing your problem with someone, can make you feel better. Even more than 50% problem solved only by talking to people.

At the end, i just want to say that a person alone is nothing, a person is something only with someone. We have to listen to each other in order to make friends and to influence people also. It is necessary to get rid of most of our problems and also to eliminate the most psychological problems from the society.
