The largest number of respondents stated that their organization uses biometrics using a smartphone — 46%.

In every fourth company such systems are installed on laptops, another 22% of enterprises chose tablets. However, only 23% of IT professionals believe that biometric authentication will replace traditional text passwords over the next two to three years. The rest indicate the presence of vulnerabilities in biometric systems and the opacity of the process of data collection and storage by providers of this service.

Although at the moment the most popular system of protection is a couple of login-password in the near future, this system of protection will be replaced by biometric identification because with the fact that this system has the advantage in data falsification and is more difficult to crack.
