Hey Brian.. thanks for the article. I’m a startup founder with a food company — so would like to think my love of craft beer + anything smoked would pass the test :)

I agree that “clicking” is important but I also wonder about unconscious bias. How do we hire based on our gut but also make sure we’re not excluding folks who have different cultural experiences?

If you’re comfortable releasing your company’s workforce demographics, it’d be awesome. Would love to know if your company includes folks like me (an awesome woman of color) so that I can learn from your business practices and scale my business to $250M in sales revenue.
