Serbia is a booming tourists destination with a plethora of things to do. The capital city, Belgrade, is not an exception in that. The place is filled with amazing tourist spots that will make you addicted to this country. Have a look at the pretty Places To Visit In Serbia below.

Kalemegdan Fortress

One of the best parks in Belgrade which is a hub of rich culture and history. The park is well maintained for the tourists with areas to linger around. The location is absolutely great for a romantic evening as you can watch the sun go down over New Belgrade and the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers.

Skadarlija

The cobbled bohemian street of Belgrade, Skadarlija is car-free and is filled with cafes, shops, and restaurants. However, this street was amazing during early 1900, where the Serbian singers, musicians, writers, and poets lived, worked and performed here. Nowadays people linger here to enjoy the nightlife of Serbia.

Church of St Sava

Church of St Sava is the second largest Orthodox church in the world and the largest Orthodox Church in the Balkan region. The size of this church dominates the skyline of Belgrade. And hence you can see this structure where ever you roam in the Belgrade city. There are other astounding churches in the town, but do you want to miss the largest and most beautiful St Sava church?

Ada Ciganlija

Ada Ciganlija is an artificial lake that will come alive during summer. You can see people in the banks merrily enjoying the sun and getting themselves some tan. If you are traveling to Serbia during the summertime, don’t forget to visit this lake.

Knez Mihailova Street

Knez Mihailova Street is a pedestrianized street in which the Belgradians go out to shop. It is one of the most expensive streets in the country which has upmarket boutiques and international brands like Sephora, Zara, etc. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes in the street where the urban dwellers hop on to enjoy their time. Moreover, the fortress way is filled with neoclassical mansions with quoins and cornices in this street.

Gardoš Tower

The Gardoš Tower is also known as the Millennium Tower. It was built in 1896 to celebrate 1,000 years of Hungarian settlement on the Pannonian Plain and hence the name millennium tower. There is a small exhibition inside the tower portraying the history of Zemun and Gardoš. Climb top for an excellent view of the Danube and the crowd.
