I think it depends on your choice of study as well; some career paths, majors, etc. have much higher ROIs than others.

Business leaders are increasingly becoming more technical, and a BA might hold less value alongside other degrees. Especially when a technical person can pick up an MBA and have higher value, and the reverse isn’t prevalent enough.
