Hey there! So i think you are here because either you are looking for an internship or want to know about Intershala as a place to get an internship.

So let me start with Intershala first and then i will proceed with my internship experience. First of all i am a Android Developer and did my intership in Android development only!! Internshala as a platform for internships is a great place because you can apply to relevant internships according to your experience and need like work for home, full-time or part-time. Finding a right internship is difficult but eventually you will be able to find it because this happened with me too! Although i am pretty late to get an internship as i am a fourth year student of engineering and didn’t had some serious skills of coding earlier to get an internship in developer profile. That race to gather relevant skills for landing a right internship was little difficult but i did that you can find my story on my profile (I am going to write about it in my upcoming article).

Alot of companies are listed over Internshala but not all of them are great for internship and experience that we guys need before entering into actual IT world of development. So lets first talk about how to get an internship? Ya so you have to first of all build some projects and have a decent experience in coding (from decent i mean you can code or design if recruiter asks you to perform a task on the spot ya this actually happens). Building projects will help the recruiter to know about your experience in coding and how you code Don’t forget to upload your code on github or any version control websites. Update your profile frequently and maintain a clean github profile provide the link of your projects and github profile on internshala resume.

After doing projects and uploading them on internshala then you can start applying to interships. At first apply to all possible internship either work for home or full-time. Don’t be lazy in this so after sometime (maybe days) You will receive some message from one or two companies. Then communicate with them and shortlist a company according to your need search on google about company check reviews on Glassdoor etc. Simultaneously with this keep applying to other internships as you may get a better internship somewhere else. After finishing with this process and shortlisting a company at your end and getting shortlisted by the company then you can start with negotiating about stipend and work.

I hope this gave you a brief idea about internship on internshala. If it helped you then do contact with me on my email — japneetsachdeva@yahoo.com.

Keep working hard you will get SUCCESS!!
