30 days of Code by HackerRank is helpful for coders to brush up on their coding fundamentals. Every day you will get a new problem on the new concept.

Introduction

For every question, you can see the concept used, success rate, and if you don’t remember the concepts then you can watch the tutorial provided by Hacker Rank. The questions start from printing “Hello world” and go up to DSA, Exception Handling which is pretty good. After every 24 hours, the next question unlocks. If you are a person who forgets tasks assigned you should use To Do list, for this contest you need not to take tension because you will receive mail from HackerRank when the next question unlocks.

Mail by HackerRank

While attempting questions you will get a clear idea of what your weak areas are and need more practice.

Who should do it?

If you are a beginner and want to check your progress and revise concepts, you can go for it. Many people find it difficult to code daily/ regularly. I strongly suggest this to those students. As studies say that you can adopt or drop any habit in 21 days. Thus this 30 days challenge will be very beneficial to you. You can code in any language you know and video tutorials in Java. Those who have a lot of experience of coding may feel it boring because it starts with simple questions of loops, if-else, etc.

Stars Distribution

From the number of submissions, it is very clear that many people start but drop the task in between which is very bad. Currently, 1369399 people submitted for Day 0 but only 79285 submitted for the last question (Day 29).

Conclusion

This is very helpful for beginners and those who lack consistency but for those who have good experience of coding in starting it might be a bit boring but as the contest proceeds, you will also start enjoying it. Whenever we get one more star that gives energy to work more.
