I’d argue though that the best companies (Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc) embrace a culture of failure in an effort to encourage bold bets. If they in fact had a culture that said there was “little room for failure” I think incrementalism would result and certainly that has been the case in other companies where they haven’t embraced failure in the same way.
