With so many self-improvement books available these days, it can be tough to decide who to trust. Many forms of improvement will simply come from trial and error.

I started by asking myself:

What needs to be improved and/or changed?

What steps need to be taken?

Do I need a change in perspective?

Brendon Burchard’s book, “High Performance Habits” is a great tool to jump-start change.

Warning: True change will cause a sense of uncomfortableness.

Have you ever heard the saying, being comfortable is a great place but nothing ever grows there?

Once we understand that, a whole new world will open up.

We can then decide how much focus we should give to things we are passionate about.

If you want to be a writer, how often do you practice your craft? Persistence is the key.

Brendon Burchard is a big fan of discipline and consistency. If you really want to achieve something, you will keep working towards it no matter what.
