Faisal Farooqui

Faisal I. Farooqui is the founder & CEO of Mouthshut.com, a user generated consumer review and rating service. He has pursued his Bachelor’s degree of science and finance from State University of New York at Binghamton. He is quite innovative and believes in creativity. He was the first to start Auto-Rickshaw advertisement in India. Farooqui has been invited for worldwide seminars to speak on entrepreneurship, technology, social media and marketing. Farooqui has been featured for his work in different magazines, newspapers and TV channels such as BBC, CNBC, CNN, Economic Times, Entrepreneur magazine, Fortune, NDTV, New York Times blog, UK’s Financial Express, Zee etc. In 2012, Farooqui got listed in list of top business people who created history in india by Entrepreneur Magazine. Faisal challenged India's restrictive IT Rules in the Supreme Court Which resulted in striking down India's draconian Sec. 66A, after that he is recognized as advocate of freedom of expression on the internet.

Apart from Mouthshut.com, he is the co-founder of Zarca Interactive and also launched Dealface.com in 2011.

Kavin Bharti Mittal is the founder & CEO of Hike Messenger, instant messaging service for smartphones. He has graduated from Imperial College, London with a Masters in Electrical Engineering and Management (MEng) in 2009. He belongs to an Entrepreneur Family, as his father Sunil Bharti Mittal is Chairman and group of CEO of Bharti Enterprises. We can say that entrepreneurship is present in his blood.

It’s his marketing skills and business strategies only that Hike has become one of the most popular messenger in Indian market within such a short amount of time.

3. Naveen Tewari

Naveen Tewari is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder & CEO of InMobi, a global mobile advertising and technology platform. He is also the Board member of PayTm. Tewari grew up in the family of IIT Professors at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT) in 2000. His professional journey began with McKinsey and Company as a business analyst from 2000 to 2003. In 2005, he studied at Harvard Business School (HBS) for Master’s degree in Business Administration, where he was awarded the Dean’s Award for exceptional leadership and contribution.

In 2007 Tewari started his entrepreneurial journey with some of his friends. They started their first business mKhoj, a SMS search engine but unfortunately it failed shortly. After that, They pivoted their business to mobile advertising and technology platform -InMobi, and moved their base to Bangalore to be in the hub of talent and technology.

4. Kunal Bahl

Kunal Bahl is an Indian entrepreneur, cofounder and CEO of Snapdeal, e-commerce business site in India. Kunal had completed his initial school education at Delhi Public School (DPS) New Delhi. He pursued his Bachelor’s degree in engineering from University of Pennsylvania. After that Kunal took business degree from the Wharton School and finished an executive marketing program from Kellogg School of Management.

Kunal started his professional journey from working in Microsoft for a short period he was deported from USA to India due to some visa issue in 2008. After returning to India, He cofounded Snapdeal along with his school friend Rohit Bansal on 4 February 2010.

5. Vishal Mehta

Vishal Mehta is cofounder and CEO of Infibeam, Online Retailing and Internet Services. Vishal was born in a traditional big joint family. He took admission in Cornell University where he studied Operations Research & Management.

Vishal worked for more than a year at Dell and at Amazon for several years in technology, finance and corporate development roles. In 2007, he moved back to India for his own technology startup.
