One of the most exciting things about this dedicated app is the API that’s gotten much better since I first encountered it, enabling much more native functionality that mirrors the web-based experience really well.

My thought here was simple: Ev Williams and the team have spent countless hours defining and refining their approach to capturing ideas and transforming them into words in preparation for publishing — there’s probably very little that I do can do to improve their exhaustive research and expertise!

As such, the API has allowed me to integrate seamlessly with your blog property and you should experience a very familiar feel to writing.

The writing interface is simple, elegant, and should get out of your way when you start writing. The power features will show up at the right time when you need them.
