I’m totally intrigued and excited about this 90-day letter and interested in potentially implementing it. And so, I’m curious to know more about the origins and purpose. Is it intended to always be public? And if so, is there any concern that it might not be fully honest? Is the main audience the individual staffer or for the team and is time dedicated to discuss/reflect? Is it intended to reflect on the hiring/onboarding process of the org or more about an individual reflecting on their journey? Is there any parallel process like a letter you write on your first day predicting what your hopes are for day 90 and then reflecting on where there is alignment and where there are differences? And clearly, 90 days is a key time in joining a new workplace — I’m curious if you’ve identified other key times for reflection? And also, do team members do any reflection on growth they’ve seen from the new person on staff and what they’ve seen happen over 90 days? You can see how much my mind is whirring from reading this — thank you for helping me think about how we might implement some new practices for new staff members.
