Netiquette is a compound word of “network” and “etiquette.”

This means that netiquette is an etiquette people has to follow on network system. Nowadays, cyber society became huge form of communication in worldwide. Therefore, it is more important to have a proper manner in online communication. Let’s see what will makes online community safe and proper.

Never criticize anyone

Be understanding of the diversity. We all have different life style, beliefs and religious. Understand and listen to other voices. Avoid commenting of inappropriate statements of racism or sexism. No sarcastic comments or shares toward at religious beliefs, disabilities, and age.

2. Don’t be a judge mental

Every person in the worlds has all different opinion and ideas. Do not judge anyone by looking at one’s post or comment. Be Respectful of their ideas. There’s no specific answer to everything. Try not to use any offensive words to people who thinks different with you and stay positive.

3. Use proper languages

Internet is used for all genders, ages and cultures. Avoid slags, swearing and bad words and use proper grammar, spellings and words. When you are posting or writing comments, beware of that it might be read by your grand mom or little kids. When you are posting something, check if the post could be read in all ages.

4. Read it over before you hit send

Some people doesn’t think their words or comments so seriously. However, that words or comments could be effective to other. It could hurt peoples feeling. Think about how would you feel when you hear it itself. Most importantly, you should be same person either in offline or online.

5. Respect one’s privacy

Don’t ever collect or share one’s personal information and piracy as well. Also, do not target someone specific and write one’s personal stories and lies of that person.
