Creation of Man, Angels and Jinns

Islam emphasizes that Allah Almighty is perfectly one, nothing and no one is equivalent to Him and has no family. The oneness of Allah is the essential element pertaining to the attribute of strong faith. In His uniqueness, Allah has revealed an entire chapter in the Holy book of the Quran that states

“Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.” [112: 1–4]

Allah has blessed life to human who are the noblest of all along some other creations like jinns and angels. Muslims are entitled with the epithet of “intellectual creations” who if scrutinized the teachings of Islam will understand the purpose of their creation. We Muslims are unfortunate enough that we read the Arabic inscriptions of sacred Book but are unable to understand the message ciphered in its words. If a Muslim recites Surah Rahman with translation, He will become quite a connoisseur to differentiate between different creations and their proximal purpose.

Humans

Humans have blessed with intellect and abilities enough that they have conquered the universe and for them the sky is the limit. Humans are made from clay in order to realize them the worth that they are the subjugated worshipping creations born to praise and glorify the Lord.

“And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.” [15:26]

Humans have called children of Adam in Quran and are given due preference as stated:

“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.” [17:70]

Angels

Angels are born from Noor (light) who are created primarily for the prostration in front of the Lord. In the Arab peninsula, angels were used for massage purposes as the entire book of Quran was revealed through Angel Gabriel. Believing in the creation of the Angels is the part of firm faith and regarding angels the Islamic dogma states:

“O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.” [66:6]

Jinns

In the sacred Surah of Ar Rahman the tone that Allah has used is for both man and Jinns. Jinns are created from smoke, flames for the worship of Allah almighty.

“And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” [51:56]

Prior to the creation of Adam, Jinns were the first creation dwelled on planet earth, but led to blood shedding and clashes.

“And the jinn We created before from scorching fire.” [15:27]

The purpose of creation of Jin too is to worship Lord and it has been mentioned in Quran that when one recites Quran Jinns do listen to it and then go back to their spacious domain to warn their clan.

“And [mention, O Muhammad], when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur’an. And when they attended it, they said, “Listen quietly.” And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners” [46:29].

Surmising, the purpose of creation is eminently clear upon every single creature and the sole purpose is to prostrate in front t of Lord to glorify Him in order to beseech His mercy for the Day of Resurrection and to take refuge from satanic whispers.
